- Wood / Bamboo Vinegar -

Wood/bamboo vinegar is produced through the natural act of carbonization, which occurs when wood/bamboo is heated in an airless container during charcoal production.

The vapors, or smoke, that come from this process become condensed once cooled down which produces the vinegar. At this point it is light yellow in color, and sour to taste. It then goes through a filtration process to become a useable substance.

Despite its name, wood/bamboo vinegar often produces a smoky scent rather than a tangy or sour one due to this process. It is classified as vinegar because of the high count of acidic compounds found in the liquid. Along with these acids, the vinegar often contains 80-90% water along with some 200 organic compounds.

Recent studies on the effects of wood/bamboo vinegar in sterilization have been promising. Many medical professionals have begun using the product to help heal a number of physical wounds and ailments that result from diseases like diabetes and dermatitis.

Scientific reports show that wood/bamboo vinegar can help in these areas:

  • Prevent Hairloss
  • Soften Skin
  • Repel Insects
  • Relieve Itching
  • Reduce Foot Odor
  • Aid in Sanitation
  • Relieve Athlete's Foot
  • Eliminate Inflammation
  • Enhance Soil Quality
