Carbonization starts when temperature is increased to 400ºC. To ensure the charcoal quality, the kiln temperature is raised to above 750ºC progessively. | ||

After about 80 days, the kiln is allowed to cooled down, so that bamboo charcoal can be retrieved | ||
| Before going on sales, the stalks are cut to required sizes |
